Terms of Service

Thank you for considering commissioning me. To commission me, you confirm you are no younger than 18 years old and have read my entire terms of service by including the keyword found at the end of the document in your order email. By commissioning me, you consent to having your finished commission(s) posted onto my social media pages and used in my portfolio unless specially requested otherwise in your order. Commissions may only be used for personal noncommercial uses (unless otherwise negotiated with an additional cost) and must be credited to me (sHarperMarcel) when reposted or used as an avatar on social media. Commissions may be used to create physical prints not for resale and only for personal use, and at the client’s expense as I currently do not have access to a quality color printer. Commissions may not under any circumstances be used to create NFTs, train generative AI algorithms, or be used in conjunction with any generative AI or the crypto blockchain. Doing so will result in a permanent ban from my services, a public “beware of client” notice, and legal action taken against the offending party.Please use the commission options buttons for examples of artwork (including price breakdown for example pieces)Note: All prices listed in US dollars, and I charge a 5.5% sales tax on all orders.Note 2: Expected turnarounds on each type of commission are rough estimates, and due to my disability may take longer than projected. If that is the case, I will communicate this to you, and there are opportunities for either a full refund or future discounts if your commission takes longer than projected. See the payment process section for details.Content I Will Draw:
· Original characters, including furries (anthro and feral), monsters/aliens, humanoids, and mecha/robot characters (complex designs will incur a 20% extra fee, see order process section for details)
· Selfship & OC x Canon content, fan characters, AU versions of characters
· Gore
· NSFW, including teratophilia and light eroguro (e.g. blood/knife/woundplay), as well as furry NSFW so long as the subjects do not resemble real-life animals
· Basic props (e.g. tools, food, books, simple weapons, chairs) at no extra charge. Complex props will incur a 10% extra fee.Content I Will Not Draw:
· Pet portraits/Non-furry real life animals unaccompanied by a humanoid or fantastical character
· Homestuck and Homestuck OCs
Celebrities
· Real people without explicit written consent of the subject
· Any depiction or promotion of any form of bigotry (racism, ableism, transphobia, misogyny, intersexism, fascism, etc.) Even if for example you want me to draw a character punching nazis, I will refuse the request as I am not comfortable drawing that iconography.
· Specific NSFW content including depictions of pedophilia/loli/shotacon/babyfur, incest, beastiality, scat/diaper/fart fetishes, any form of vore, hard eroguro (e.g. dismemberment/cannibalism). I reserve the right to reject commission requests for fetish art not specified in this list.
I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason.Payment Process:I require full payment up front before I begin work on your commission. For commissions over $150, a short term (1-3 months) payment plan can be negotiated. I must receive the first part of the payment before beginning the commission, and will not finish your commission until the payment has been made in full.With the exception of sketch commissions, if you cancel your order and request a refund after the sketch has been completed, you consent to a 10% non-refundable deposit for the work completed. If the order is cancelled after the line art is done, or the rendering for a painted commission is underway, you consent to a 50% non-refundable deposit for the work completed. If your commission has been in my queue for over six months, I as the artist forfeit the deposit and you will receive a full refund if requested. If your commission takes over 6 months to complete and you do not request a refund, you will receive a 30% discount on your next commission. If due to catastrophic circumstances your commission takes over 12 months to complete and you do not request a refund, you will receive a 30% discount on every commission ordered for the next 24 months.I offer 5 free revisions throughout the process, afterwards each revision request incurs a 20% fee.Note for all commission types: bust/half/full body can be mixed and matched in a single composition, see example pieces. The only exception is “scene” commissions, which charge a flat per character rate.Note for illustration and painting commissions: clients have the option of ordering an illustration unshaded, or a painting’s poster study* for a 30% discount.*see example pieces.Thank you for reading the full terms of service. Sketch Commissions

ESTIMATED TURNAROUND: 2-7 DAYS
A clean digital sketch using brushes emulating graphite with flat colors. Does not include background by default, simple patterned/abstract background available upon request for no extra charge. Default composition size is A3 (11.7” x 16.5” / 297mm x 420mm) but alternate sizes are available upon request.PRICINGBust

An inked digital illustration rendered with either halftone, watercolor, or cel-shading as chosen by the client. Flat color or simple patterned/abstract background included without extra charge. Order

Please ensure you have read the Terms of Service and include the keyword found there within your order email.Ordering Process:To order a commission, please email [email protected] with the subject line “Commission Request” and include in your email which option you would like and any applicable add-ons. Please include references for the character(s) such as artwork, picrews, heroforge/other tabletop minis, fursuits/badges, written descriptions, assorted faceclaims, and/or image boards. Please include references for any applicable props/outfits/backgrounds/frames as well as a description of your desired pose/composition (stick figure thumbnail sketches/diagrams welcome and encouraged). If ordering an halftone or cel-shaded commission, please select a secondary color for the ink (and/or base color for halftones*). Once your order has been received and processed, I will send you an invoice over PayPal.For the sake of both my privacy and organization, I ask that all commission requests be processed through email. Once work has begun on your commission I will update you weekly on Fridays before 5pm CST (UTC-6) on the progress of your piece, and will also send updates once phases of the commission are done (sketch, linework, flats, background, etc).
Trusted, repeat clients (who have ordered 3 or more commissions from me), or personal friends of mine, may contact me through my discord (or other socials or my personal phone, depending) about their commissions.Complex Design Fee: After you send your order email with the assorted reference(s), I will reply to you and inform you if your request will incur the 20% complex design fee that may also extend your expected turnaround by 1-2 weeks, depending on the order. In this same email I will ask if you would like to request a payment plan on orders larger than $150, and we will negotiate the terms of that before I send you the invoice. If you are in my queue, you will also receive your queue number and projected turnaround date at this time.*if you do not select a base color for halftone illustrations, I will choose one according to the general color palette.**if you already have my discord prior to ordering any commissions (eg. we’re in the same server) feel free to contact me through there.
